Bugfix 4 (version 2.2.4)


Hey everyone, this should be the final patch for Rebound's fishing update, I hope you all have fun with it!

Bugfixes

  • Fixed the Warden's status inflicting moves so they actually inflict the status effects they were meant to as they were absent for some reason in this build.
  • Fixed the switches for the Kissing Trout and Coilfin in the Aquarium
  • Fixed The New Fire Warden being reverted back to the normal New Warden if you manage to defeat him before he transforms.
  • Fixed Ari's event still being there after defeating Princess Xavieria.
  • Fixed Interro's event happening in the wrong exit at the beginning of the Sunken City.
  • Fixed a minor jump in the oasis docks.
  • Fixed a hard lock during the Void sequence that occurs if you select certain options in a certain order.
  • Fixed a bug where Ari appears after poking Sullivan's arm even if she isn't in your party.
  • Fixed the Mansion Skip so you can now go through the double doors through the first gap in the hedges if you've completed Warden's sidequest.

Rebalancing

  • Adjusted the stats that armor gives you and nerfed the stats the weapons you get from fishing.
  • Removed Paralysis from the Coilfin Medallion.
  • Every shadow enemy is now immune to Blackflame.
  • Reworked +Charmed so it doesn't make enemies attack their allies anymore but reduces accuracy and makes them hit for less damage.
  • Removed Ari's natural double card gain.
  • Changed the card cost for the Inn in Barrel Town from 25 cards to 6 cards.
  • Changed the cost of the Inn in the Outpost to 10 cards instead of being free. It will be free when you've rescued him from the guild's prison.
  • Warden's Power Punch combo now attacks 3 times.
  • Adjusted Warden's Meat Shield to grant higher defense.
  • Adjusted Warden's Hype so it goes away after performing an action.
  • Improved Warden's ATK gain per level.
  • Buffed the glove weapons.
  • Increased the DEF and HP stats of some enemies.
  • Blackflame now gives state resist to "On Fire" so you can't set anything afflicted with it on fire if it has Blackflame.
  • Altered the ingredient cost and healing values of multiple food recipes.
  • Post-Varek fights now scale based on your party's average level.
  • Some encounters with multiple enemies also have enemies arrive sooner depending on the party's average level.
  • Princess Xavieria has new phases. :)
  • Sullivan's different masks now have different levels of DEF and MDF.
  • Modified the "Noise" and "New Warden" encounters. The former now requires a different strategy, and the latter has a new interaction if they are hit with a certain status effect.

Quality of Life

  • Fixed the animations flashing for The Warden and Interro whenever they attacked with combo moves (and potentially the bug that makes battler sprites invisible).
  • Added new Warden Animations (Thank you Dirge).
  • Set some of Interro and Sala's skills to be "Skills" instead of "Brawl" and "Powers".
  • Removed "Powers" from both Interro and Sala.
  • Renamed Loud Tap to Irritating Tap.
  • Dojo Events now correctly refer to Sen's Annoying & Irritating Tap moves.
  • Fixed the Fridge's tiles in Gill's Bites.
  • Implemented Barrel Town Shortcuts
  • Hid Sullivan's HP gauge but had it so that his arm's health bars are visible.
  • Fixed the Regal Sentry being able to die. While it dying didn't break anything, its still odd.
  • Fixed some minor spelling errors.
  • Interro now has an attack that targets all enemies.

Other:

  • Added a new track to replace the placeholder that was used for a specific room (thank you Maxodex).
  • Added a version number to the title screen.
  • Updated credits.
